Paragliding
In Turkey you probably find the most beautiful spots in the world for parasailing, or paragliding. Olüdeniz is a paradise for double jumps or for the experienced paraglider.
Paragliding is something always people dreamed of for centuries fly like a bird. Paragliding is the most simple and natural but also safest form of flying. The parasailing equipment exists of a special baffle that looks like a parachute. It's very small that it almost fits into a small back pocket.
Double jump
If you never have made a jumped you can make one with a double jump. Together with an experienced jumper you hang on one baffle. You do not need any experience for this, the guide does all the work for your. However, you a vast instruction concerning the start and landing procedures.
Your standing together with your guide on a mountain top and you must run as hard as possible. Suddenly your feet will leave the ground and you fly like a bird in the air, enjoying the magnificent view under you.
A double jump cost approx. € 99,00. this is including harness, helmet and insurance. It is possible to make a jump in Olüdeniz or in Kas. A jump lasts about 30 up to 60 minutes.
Classes
You can also follow several classes and learn how to jump on your own.
Two day class
Ideal if you want try the paragliding yourself. The first day is you mainly about handling the paraglider, whereas on the second day you will really fly. Costs: approx. € 125,00.
Elementary Pilot Course
The basis to be able to fly independently. You learn matters such as preflight checks, start and landing, as well as some theoretical matters. This class lasts approx. 4 days, depending on the weather. Costs of this class is approx. € 600,00.
